Our aerial platforms are often used around Advent. After all, they’re the ideal means of decorating tall Christmas trees. And they’re just as ideal for installing Christmas lights and decorations, such as on street lights or buildings of various heights.
On this project our aerial platforms were used by the town of Mělník. They helped to decorate a beautiful Christmas tree on the town’s náměstí Míru. The task was handled by two top-of-the-range machines. These were trailer mounted boomlifts, which have hydraulic outriggers enabling the machine to be set up quickly and efficiently.
One of the models used for this job was the trailer mounted boomlift Teupen Gepard 25 T, which boasts a maximum working height of 25 metres. The other trailer mounted boomlift used was the Ommelift 2900 EBD, which can reach a working height of up to 29 metres. They enabled all the decorations to be put in place, the result being a beautifully decorated tree that soon lit up the town square.
